SICK & RETIRED PRIESTS COLLECTION:
Next week there will be a second collection to support the sick and retired priests of the Diocese of Westminster. Your generous donation helps ensure that priests, who have followed their vocation and given their lives to the Church, are cared for and supported when they are sick and when they retire. Donation leaflets/envelopes are available in the back of the church. Please take one home, read about this important work, and bring it back next weekend with your donation.  Please continue to pray for the wellbeing of all of our clergy - active, retired and ill.

REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY:
This will be commemorated at the 9.45 am Mass on Sunday 12th November, which will be attended by our Uniformed Groups.

FAIR TRADE STALL:
Will be open at the usual times next weekend.

FRANCIS O’SULLIVAN:
Would like to thank all those who offered prayers for him.  A Mass Intention has been offered for you on 31st January at 10 am.

SACRAMENT OF RECONCILIATION:
Please note that confessions usually take place in the confessional on Saturdays 10.30-11 am and 5.30-6 pm. For safeguarding and the discipline of the sacraments, the Diocese asks that wherever possible confessions are celebrated in this way rather than 'ad hoc'.  If this is not possible, e.g. because of work, you can make a pre-arranged appointment with the priest.  We ask that we all try to follow this pattern. Before Christmas, there will be further opportunities for confession, during a daytime service and at extended weekend confessions, so that everyone has an opportunity. More to follow.

PILGRIMAGE TO THE HOLY LAND:
Fr. David has proposed a Parish Pilgrimage to the Holy Land in October 2018.  This promises to be an amazing experience.  Five nights staying in Galilee and Bethlehem, following in the footsteps of Jesus, Mary and the disciples.  Please collect a sheet from the back of the church or see Fr. David if you are interested.

ITALIAN MASS:
Fr Gabriele will be celebrating Mass in Italian on Saturday 11th November at 4 pm – all welcome.

The Committee meets on Monday 13th November at 7.30 pm in the Small Hall.

NOVEMBER BAPTISM COURSE:

PRAYERS FOR PEACE:
There is a request from the Christians returning to Nineveh in Northern Iraq for prayers for peace. The Parish response is to say five decades of the rosary in front of the Blessed Sacrament at 10.45 am every Sunday. All are welcome. The Rosary will be led by members of the Parish Aid to the Church in Need Group.

RED WEDNESDAY – 22nd November:
“April 2017: Christian woman Dorkas Zakka was among 12 people killed by Fulani herdsmen who interrupted an Easter Vigil Mass in Kafanchan state, northern Nigeria.” Join Aid to the Church in Need on 22nd November in raising awareness and praying for our brothers & sisters in Christ undergoing bloodshed. For information, see www.acnuk.org or see the poster in the porch.
