FR. MARTIN:
We welcome Fr Martin Tate who will be our New Assistant Priest and is joining us from this weekend. Fr Martin will introduce himself at all Masses. Fr Martin was ordained in July and this is his first appointment.
FR VINCENT:
Fr Vincent’s last weekend with us will be this weekend Saturday 31st August/Sunday 1st September.
We would like to thank Fr Vincent for all his hard work during his time with us and wish him every blessing for his ministry in his new appointment at the combined Parishes of Welwyn Garden City. We will be inviting Fr Vincent back to thank him and the date will be confirmed next weekend. Please remember Fr Vincent in your prayers.
PARISH FUNDRAISING LUNCH:
Tickets will be on sale from this weekend after Masses. The Lunch will be raising funds for new fencing around the Parish Hall, and takes place on Sunday 6th October at 1.15 pm. Tickets will cost £20, and include a three course buffet lunch and wine.
PAPER SHOP ROTA:

BERNADETTE CLUB:
Meets on Friday from 2pm – 4pm. New members are always welcome.
DOWRY OF MARY PILGRIMAGE TO WALSINGHAM:

RCIA COURSE:
If you are an adult, interested in becoming a Catholic, or in knowing more about the Catholic faith you are invited to attend our RCIA course which takes place from October to Easter. Please collect an application form from Fr. Vincent in the Sacristy today.
CHOIR:
The choir is back singing at 9.45 mass after the summer break.
New members are always welcome,all you need is an interest in singing and a willingness to come to practise on Tuesday evenings at 7.30. If you cannot read music it doesn't matter as you can be taught the notes. Why not come along on Tuesday and give it a go.
BAPTISM APPLICATION:
The next application for Baptism will be on Monday September 9th. Please come to the Presbytery between 7pm -8pm.
FAIR TRADE STALL
The first stall after the holidays, with many healthy lunch snacks, is next weekend after Saturday 6.30pm and Sunday morning Masses until 12:30pm. 12:30 mass goers should come before Mass.
WELCOME BACK:
To all those who have been away on holiday. Please remember in your prayers all those children who will be starting their new schools this week.
CHILDREN’S LITURGY:
Will resume from next Sunday. All children aged between 4 and 7 years are welcome to attend. Any child under the age of 4 is also welcome but must be accompanied by a parent.
