PARISH FUNDRAISING LUNCH:
Tickets will be on sale from this weekend after all Masses. There are only a few remaining!  The Lunch will be raising funds for new fencing around the Parish Hall, and takes place on Sunday 6th October at 1.15 pm.  Tickets are £20, and include a three course buffet lunch and wine.

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION 2014:
Parents who have got an appointment with the priests are reminded that they all take place tomorrow evening, Monday 23rd September.

THE ORDINARIATE:
At Masses this weekend we receive a letter from Monsignor Keith Newton, Ordinary of the Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham, about the contribution that the Ordinariate is making to the life and work of the Catholic Church in this country. The Ordinariate is the structure under which former Anglicans who wish to enter the full communion of the Catholic Church, bringing with them some of the traditions and beauty of the Anglican heritage in which they were nurtured, may do so.

CHILDRENS LITURGY CATECHISTS:
Your new rota and hand-outs are available for collection from the paper shop today.  If you can’t collect please call the office and we can arrange to post it to you.

CONVENT MASS:
There will be Mass in the Convent at 2, Brookdale on Thursday 26th September at 7.30 pm.  Parishioners will be most welcome.

RCIA COURSE:

If you are an adult, interested in becoming a Catholic, or in knowing more about the Catholic faith you are invited to attend our RCIA course which takes place from October to Easter.  Please collect an application form from the Priests in the Sacristy today.

READERS ROTA:

New rotas are available from the paper shop today.

PRAYING WITH ST. MAXIMILIAN KOLBE:
The Relics of St. Kolbe will be brought to Notre Dame de France (5, Leicester Place, London WC2H 7BX) for an evening celebration on Friday 27th September between 7 – 10 pm.  The programme includes a talk about Kolbe's life-story by Fr. DAY OF PRAYER FOR THE MIDDLE EAST:

On Saturday 28th September a Day of Prayer for Peace in the Middle East will be held in Westminster Cathedral from 9.30 am to 3.30 pm, led by Canon Christopher Tuckwell, the Cathedral Dean, and Mgr. Keith Barltrop, with a special focus on Syria. All are welcome either for the whole day or a part of it. Details can be found on a poster in the Church porch.

MACMILLAN COFFEE MORNING:

On Sunday 29th September after the three early morning masses, the Scout Group will be holding a coffee morning to raise funds for MacMillian nurses.  Cakes for sale would be gratefully welcomed.  All invited.

GRAND ORGAN FESTIVAL:
At Westminster Cathedral – the programme continues on Wednesday 25th September at 7.30 pm.  Entrance is free.  Details on the Cathedral website.
