RCIA:
If you are an adult interested in becoming a Catholic, or in knowing more about the Catholic faith, you are invited to attend our RCIA course which takes place from October to Easter.  Please collect an application form from the Priests in the Sacristy today.

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION 2015:
Our FHC programme begins on Tuesday 7th October with all the parents meeting in the Hall at 8 pm.  The children will start on Saturday 11th at 10 am, also in the Hall, and on Sunday the families will attend the 11.15 am Mass.

THE FITZGERALD FAMILY:
Would like to express their heartfelt thanks to everyone for their kindness, prayers and support following the death of Margaret.  A Mass will be offered for your intentions.

DEMENTIA FRIENDS:
You are invited to attend an informal information session to learn about the Dementia Friends Initiative and how we can create dementia friendly communities, in the Parish Hall on either: Saturday 1st, or  8th November at 4.30 pm, or Friday 7th, or Tuesday 11th, at 7.30 pm.  Each session will last an hour – you only have to attend once!
You are asked to register your intention to attend on the Dementia Friends Website, www.dementiafriends.org.uk, or if you don’t have access to the internet, please leave your name with the Parish Office.

ROME AND ASSISI PILGRIMAGE 27th October – 2nd November:
There will be a meeting in the Small Hall in the Presbytery on Tuesday 14th October at 7.30 pm for all those going on the pilgrimage. If you are unable to attend please contact Patrick Bolger Pilgrimage Organiser on 8882 1522.

SECONDARY SCHOOL  PRIEST’S REFERENCE FORMS:
If you are considering a place at a Catholic Secondary school for your child please sign up for an appointment for the Priest to sign your Diocesan reference forms. Lists are available in the Paper shop today and  the sign up evening will take place on Monday 20th October.

VENUSTA FILINSKI  RIP:
The Requiem Mass will take place on Tuesday 7th October at 10 am.

LUIGI CASTAGNETTI  RIP:
The Reception of the Body is on Wednesday 8th October at 7 pm and the Requiem will follow on Thursday at 10 am.

BAPTISM COURSE:
The next course begins on Monday 6th October.   Please come to the Parish Centre between 7 – 8 pm to complete an application form. 

CAFOD HARVEST FAST DAY:
CAFOD works with poor communities overseas on our behalf, helping them to tackle poverty and injustice.
Fast Days are our opportunity to support this vital work.  There will be a second collection after all masses this weekend.  Please use the Gift Aid slip on the envelope if you pay UK tax.

SUNDAY MORNING REFRESHMENT & PAPER SHOP VOLUNTEERS:

SCOUT GROUP MACMILLAN COFFEE MORNING:

The Scouts say a very big thank you to all who supported their cake sale last weekend.  You raised £411 for Macmillan nurses.

TWO CATHEDRALS’ PROCESSION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT
takes place on Saturday 18th October from Westminster to Southwark Cathedrals, starting at 1.30 pm.  All welcome.
