HARVEST FAST DAY FRIDAY 2nd OCTOBER:
Your support and donations this Harvest Fast Day will enable our partners to work with people across the world to empower them to become self-sufficient despite living in the most difficult of conditions. Please take an envelope for you to Gift Aid your donations if you are a UK taxpayer – thank you. 

SECONDARY SCHOOL PRIEST REFERENCE FORM SIGNINGS:

Parents who handed in a self-assessment form in July are invited to sign up for an appointment for secondary school Priest reference signings on Monday 12th October.  Please see the list in the Paper Shop today.

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION 2016:

Parents: Tuesday 6th October at 8 pm, Children: Saturday 10th at 10 am and Sunday: Family Mass at 11.15 am.

MACMILLAN THANKYOU:

We raised £524 at the coffee morning last weekend.  Today the Scouts are working with the Friends of Arnos Park to help convert the old playground into a community orchard.

FR MARTIN TATE:

There will be collection next weekend after all Masses to thank Fr. Martin for all he did for us over the past two years.  We will be inviting Fr. Martin back to celebrate the 6.30 pm Mass on Saturday 7th November followed by a presentation with refreshments in the Parish Hall – all welcome.

ST MONICA’S NOVENA:
St Monica’s Church will be holding its eleventh Annual Novena, from 7 pm on Saturday 10th October to Sunday 18th October, with Mass at 5.30 pm followed by a talk by Fr Shaun.

HOLY ROSARY:
The month of October is dedicated to the Holy Rosary.
“The rosary offers spiritual help for our souls and for spreading love, forgiveness and brotherhood everywhere. Don’t forget to pray it, because it does good for the heart, for the soul, for all of life.”(Pope Francis)  Please take a Rosary Card from the back of the church today.

OMERO ANGELUCCI RIP:
The Requiem Mass takes place on Friday 9th October at 10 am.

ITALIAN MASS:

Fr Vincenzo will be celebrating Mass In Italian on Saturday October 24th at 5 pm.  If any Parishioner would like to serve, read or be Eucharistic minister, please see Fr Vincenzo or leave your details with the Office – thank you.

JEWELLERY SALE:

The Brownies will be holding a jewellery sale on 11th October after all morning Masses.  All proceeds to: www.streetsaheadrwanda.org.uk
