HOME MISSION SUNDAY:
This Sunday is Home Mission Sunday and part of the collection this week will be to support the work of the Agency for Evangelisation.

EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS ROTAS:
A limited number are available in the paper shop for those who do not receive it by email.

AFTERNOON TEA VOLUNTEERS MEETING:

There will be a meeting for volunteers on Thursday 28th September at 7 pm in the Parish Office.

UMBERTO MAZZOCCHETTI RIP:
Reception of the body is on Monday 26th September at 4 pm, and the Requiem will follow on Tuesday 27th at 10 am.

WEN HAI PAUL TANG RIP:
The Requiem will take place on Friday 30th September at 10 am.

SECONDARY SCHOOL PRIEST REFERENCE FORM SIGNINGS:
Parents who have handed in a self-assessment form in July are invited to sign up for an appointment for their secondary school Priest reference on Monday 10th October.  Please see the list in the Paper Shop.

REBUILDING ENGLAND’S NAZARETH:
On the 24th September we shall be celebrating the feast of Our Lady of Walsingham, and on this weekend the Bishops have asked all parishes to have a second collection to help in the developments of England’s National Shrine to Our Lady. We are looking to upgrade existing buildings and build new facilities, to help us serve the increasing numbers of pilgrims, who continue to walk in the Walsingham Way, since the shrine was established in 1061.  Full details are given on our website www.walsingham.org.uk Thank you for your generosity.

ALTAR SERVERS:
If you have made your First Holy Communion and are interested in becoming an Altar Service please sign the tear off slip at the bottom of the Newsletter and post through the Presbytery letter box.

DIOCESAN COLLECTIONS:
This weekend we will be having a second collection for our Diocesan charities, including Catholic Communications and the Catholic Youth Service.

WESTMINSTER CATHEDRAL
Grand Organ Festival Recital:
Wednesday 21st September, 7.30 pm.
Andrew Lumsden of Winchester Cathedral will be playing a packed programme.  Tickets are £12 (£10), and are available on the door on the night. The recital will last around 75 minutes, and there is no interval.  See the website: www.westminstercathedralchoir.com

ST ALBANS PILGRIMAGE:

The Pilgrimage of Mercy to St Albans Cathedral takes place on Saturday, 8th October led by Bishop John Sherrington.  The pilgrimage begins in Verulamium Park at 2.30 pm, followed by a procession into the cathedral, finishing with ecumenical Evensong at 4 pm.
