FR DAVID WRITES:
I am very pleased to say that Fr Andrew Bowden has been appointed as our new assistant priest, beginning at the start of December. Fr Andrew was ordained last year in Enfield Town and has been working as a chaplain at Westminster Cathedral. I’m so pleased he is coming to us and I know he will receive a very warm welcome. I look forward to a long and fruitful ministry for Fr Andrew here at Our Lady of Lourdes!

SCHOOL VISITS:
We are inviting class groups from our primary school to join in our 10 am Masses on Thursday mornings, followed by a class visit from Fr David. Please do continue to come along and support the children in their faith with your presence, witness and prayerful support.

REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY:
Today, Sunday 11th November, is Remembrance Sunday and Armistice Day. The armistice marked the end of the Great War on 11th November 1918, exactly 100 years ago today. Today at the 9.45am Mass we will celebrate a special Requiem Mass for all who died in the Great War, the Second War and all subsequent conflicts. We will welcome our Scout Parade at that Mass.
