THANK YOU AND WELL DONE:
Many thanks to all involved in a number of successful and enjoyable events last weekend, including the Bernadette Club Christmas lunch, the Anointing Mass, the Volunteers Christmas Party, Sunday tea party and the Carol Service at St Paul’s. Your generosity and commitment is greatly appreciated by everyone.

CONFESSIONS:
Please note that there are further opportunities for Confession this Saturday, 15th December, and next Saturday, 22nd, at 10.30 am and 5.30 pm on both days. Our school reconciliation service for the children will be this Monday, 17th December.

PARISH CHRISTMAS TIMETABLE CARDS:
Please take a card today from the back of the Church with the times of our Christmas and New Year services.

PLANNED GIVING ENVELOPES:
Very many thanks to all of you who have already collected your envelopes.  There are still quite a few in the Paper Shop to be collected – please check all the boxes as they are not in any order any more!  Gift Aiders are asked to reply to the letter if their circumstances have changed at all recently.  Thank you.

‘KEEP FIT’ BACK IN 2019:
Our Keep Fit class, run by Jacqui, will return on Wednesday 9th January, 11 am – 12 noon – all are welcome.

JANUARY SALE 2019:
Preparations are already underway for the Sixteenth January Sale which will take place on 19th/20th January in the Parish Hall.  As usual offers of gifts, raffle prizes etc will be most welcome.  More news in the new Year – thank you Janet Butterworth.

FOUR SEASONS DRAW:

The Four Seasons Draw is relaunched with a Grand Draw for the whole of 2018 (12 prizes!!) after the 9.45 am Mass today (16th December) in the Parish Hall.

If you are a member, and would like to continue, please send in anything owing for 2018 (£3/quarter) before Friday 15th December.  New member forms available in the paper shop.  Thank you to all who have responded so far.

ALTAR SERVERS:
Boxing Day, 26th December, is the feast of St Stephen, Patron Saint of Altar Servers. At the 10 am Mass that day we will be enrolling new members to the Guild and presenting them with their medals.  All our servers are invited to join us at the Mass.

CHRISTMAS DAY MASSES:
Eucharistic Ministers are asked to volunteer for Masses at Christmas – please sign the sheet in the porch if you are available at all. Thank you.

ADVENT DAILY PRAYER BOOKLETS:
Available from the Paper Shop today priced £1.

EXPOSITION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT:
Please sign up if you are able to attend the exposition next Sunday, 22nd Dec.  The sign-up sheet is in the Church Porch.

HOMELESS COLLECTION IN ADVENT:
Once again we are collecting tins/toiletries, socks & gloves for the homeless (no used clothing please). Barnet Homeless Action are extremely grateful for your donations and have asked that the food is in tins only – thank you!  Please place your donation in the box at the back of the Church.

PARISH DIARIES 2019:
Parish Diaries for the New Year are now available in the paper shop – free of charge. Please call in and collect one.

FLOWER POWER’
Our Monday Group for vulnerable adults will be holding its next sale on this Sunday, 16th December, after all Masses in the Parish Hall.  Unique original dry flower pieces for sale as well as table decorations.

PAPER SHOP ROTA:
New rotas are available for collection from the Paper Shop today.            

CHRISTMAS POSTERS:
Please take one from the back of the church today.

WESTMINSTER YEAR BOOK 2019:
These are on sale in the Paper shop, priced £4.50, or £5 if you are lucky enough to get one of the few remaining ring-bound copies.
