COUNTERS ROTA:
New rotas are available for collection from the Paper Shop today.

SUNDAY MORNING REFRESHMENT ROTAS:
Volunteers please collect your new rota from the Paper Shop today.

TEA GROUP:
There is a meeting on Wednesday 30th January at 7 pm for all volunteers.  Please come along to find out more about the group if you would like to get involved.

O’DONNELL FAMILY:
Cecilia and family would like to thank everyone who offered Masses, prayers and support following the death of James. A Mass will be offered for your intentions on 16th March at 10 am.

DIOCESAN LOURDES MASS:
On 9th February at 2 pm in Westminster Cathedral, and will include the Sacrament of the Sick.  All are welcome and if anyone would like to attend in a wheelchair they are asked to let us know, so that the Cathedral can reserve a space.

FORTHCOMING CELEBRATIONS:   
Saturday, 2nd February, the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord (Candlemas), the 10 am Mass will include the blessing of candles.

Monday, 4th February, the 10 am Mass, will be followed by St Blaise's blessing on throats. (NB Throats will not be blessed on the Sunday).

Monday, 11th February, 10 am Mass for the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes (including the primary school) followed by tea, coffee and cakes in the church hall for parishioners.

SETTLEMENT SCHEME FOR EU CITIZENS: There is a statement from Bishop Paul McAleenan on behalf of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of England and Wales concerning the settlement of EU citizens in the United Kingdom after the country has exited the European Union. This applies to EU citizens living in the UK who do not have UK or Irish citizenship. Please take a copy or see the copy displayed in the outside noticeboard.

MICHAEL CONDON RIP:
The Requiem Mass will take place on Thursday 31st January at 10 am.  May he rest in peace.

EILEEN KELLY RIP:
The Requiem Mass will take place on Friday 1st February at10 am.  May she rest in peace.

JANUARY SALE:
A Very Big Thank You to everyone who donated, “manned” the stalls, and supported the January Sale in any way.  We raised a fantastic £1,705 which is the best we have had.  Raffle Prizes can be collected from the Paper shop today, or via the Office during opening hours.  Guess The Name was Erik, won by Marie Burguete.

CARDINAL’S MASS OF THANKSGIVING FOR  SACRAMENT OF MATRIMONY Saturday 8th June, Westminster Cathedral:
The Cardinal will be inviting to this Mass all couples in the Diocese who are celebrating their 5th 10th, 25th, 30th, 40th, 50th and 60th (and every year over 60) wedding anniversary of Catholic marriage in 2019.  If you would like to attend, please let us have: husband and wife’s names, wedding date, full postal address and email (or telephone number, if no email).

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION 2019:
Parents are reminded of their meeting on Tuesday, 29th January, at 8 pm in the Hall.  The children’s session will be on Saturday, 2nd February, at 10 am and Mass for the whole family is at 11.15 on Sunday 3rd February.

FAITH MATTERS QUESTION TIME:
The next FMQT takes place at Farm Street on Thursday 7th February at 6.45 pm on the topic of ‘Violent Crime in London: What Can Be Done?’
The main presentation will be given by Barry and Margaret Mizen of the For Jimmy Foundation, with responses by Fr Michael Holman SJ and a representative of the Legatum Institute. Suggested donation of £10 on the door.
