FR DAVID WRITES:
At the Saturday Vigil Mass we will celebrate the Going Forth Mass for our teenagers who were recently confirmed. Thank you to everyone who joined in the wonderful celebration for the First Holy Communion Going Forth Mass last weekend. We would also like to thank our wonderful team of catechists for helping to prepare the young people and the great celebrations. May God bless you all.

DEACONS:
Please pray for David Knight who was ordained deacon yesterday, and for Ian Coleman who will become a deacon next Saturday. Deacon David will join us here in the parish for the month of July, and at weekends from September.

FOUR SEASONS SUMMER DRAW:
We intend to hold the Summer Draw on Sunday 30th June after the 9.45 am Mass.  All subscribers are asked ensure that they have paid their £3 for this quarter.  Please note that if you paid last December, you may not have paid for 2019 – please check!  There are forms in the Paper shop for anyone who would like to join – only £3 per quarter!

FEITH AN CHEOIL CAKE SALE:
Feith an Cheoil is a school of traditional Irish Music of which a number of our young parishioners are members.  This Sunday 16th June, they will be holding a Cake Sale to raise funds to attend the upcoming Great Britain Fleadh in Lancashire.

OUR LADY OF LOURDES SUMMER FAYRE:
You are all cordially invited to join fellow parishioners at the School Summer Fayre on Sunday 30th June from 12 noon – 4 pm.  Lots of activities for the whole family to enjoy!!!

Raffle tickets for the Summer Fayre will be on sale in the Parish Hall next Sunday after the 8.30am, 9.45am & 11.15am Masses.  Prizes include tickets to the Theatre,  cinema, Kew gardens, Windsor Castle and much more.  100% of the proceeds will go towards resources for the children.

DAY FOR LIFE:
This Sunday is 'Day for Life' in the Catholic Church throughout Britain. This year the focus will be on domestic abuse. There will be a retiring collection. Please see the website for further details: www.dayforlife.org

NEW EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS:
Fr David is in the process of asking some parishioners if they would be willing to be Eucharistic Ministers at Sunday Mass. If you have been a minister in the past or would like to be considered as a new minister, please do speak to Fr David or Fr Andrew. There will be a meeting for those who have spoken to Fr David on Wednesday 19 June at 7.00pm in the small hall.

STANDING ORDERS:
Some of you may receive a letter from the Diocese asking you to move to standing order for the parish offertory collection. If you have already done so, please disregard the letter, but if you would like to move to standing order, please either use this letter, or ask at the Parish Office for more information.  Thank you.
