THE ASSUMPTION OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY
The Mother of Jesus, in the glory which she possesses in body and soul in heaven, is the image and beginning of the Church as it is to be perfected in the world to come. Likewise she shines forth upon the earth, until the day of the Lord shall come, as a sign of certain hope and comfort to the pilgrim People of God.

HAPPY FEAST
This weekend, throughout the world, the Christian people celebrate the beautiful feast of the Assumption. We send our best wishes and blessings to you all at this special time. Many festivals will be curtailed this year. However, the love and devotion we have for Our Lady can never be diminished, nor her intercession and care for each of us. May Our Lady of Lourdes pray for us.
PRAY THE ROSARY ONLINE - SATURDAY EVENING
Everyone is invited to watch and pray online on Saturday evening at 6.45pm. The priests will lead the Rosary for the feast of the Assumption, asking for the intercession of Our Lady for the parish and the world in the pandemic.
