ALL SAINTS & ALL SOULS
Today is the solemnity of All Saints. This is the feast of the Church Triumphant, where all the saints are gathered around the Lord. The witness and prayers of the saints spurs us on, and their powerful intercession helps us on our journey towards heaven. Tuesday is All Souls' Day. This commemoration of the faithful departed is not a feast but a day of prayer for the Holy Souls which spills over into the rest of November. There will be an extra Mass at 7pm that day to pray for our departed loved ones. We will continue our prayers and Masses for the faithful departed throughout the month.

SYNODAL PATH
The synodal path is a journey towards the Synod of Bishops. During this time, we are invited to reflect on our experiences of faith and to listen to the experiences of others. As part of this journey, we have invited Rev. Matt Harbage, Vicar of St Paul's Anglican Church, to share with us some of his own experiences of the last 18 months and those of his parishioners. He will give a special reflection at Mass on Friday 12th November at 10am. Please make a special effort to join us so that we can hear about the experiences of our neighbours.

CAFOD HUNGER LUNCH
We will have a special CAFOD 'Hunger Lunch' in our hall on Thursday 11th November at 12 noon. There will be soup and bread, sharing and fellowship. Please bring an offering to go towards CAFOD. All welcome.

SICK AND RETIRED PRIESTS
The second collection next week will be for the sick and retired priests of our Diocese. Most priests offer their resignation at 75, but many continue to serve in our schools, hospitals, hospices and parishes. This is our chance to say thank you to our sick and retired priests who have given so much. You will find a donation envelope at the back of the church today. Please take one and bring it back next weekend with your donation. Please continue to pray for the wellbeing of all of our clergy: active, retired and ill. You can donate online at www.rcdow.org.uk/donations - or by scanning the QR code on the envelope.

HEALTH & SAFETY
Please continue to use the QR code to sign in on your smartphone if you would like to. You are encouraged to wear a face covering but this is not mandatory. Please be respectful of those who may want to keep a distance. Thank you.
