FR TOM WRITES
Brothers and sisters, Christ is Risen! At the heart of the Easter proclamation is our profession that death does not and will not have the final word. Christ is victorious and has passed through the cross so that we may have life eternal. How fitting it was, therefore, that Pope Francis should begin his final journey to heaven on Easter Monday morning. Our beloved late Pope spent his Papacy tirelessly preaching joy, mercy, hope and the love of God. It is right that our hearts are heavy at this time, and that we pray for the repose of his soul and the cleansing of his sins, however let us be steadfast in proclaiming that in Christ we have no fear of death.

THANK YOU
Fr David and Fr Tom wish to once more express their most sincere thanks for you generosity over this Easter time. We thank all those who in many different ways contributed to the celebration of Christ’s Passion, Death and Resurrection. We also wish to thank you all for your kindness over the Easter.  For your prayers, good wishes, cards and gifts.

OUR LADY OF LOURDES PRIMARY SCHOOL—NURSERY PLACES
The Governors of Our Lady of Lourdes invite applications for their new nursery provision from September 2025.  Children are welcome to join our nursery from the day they turn three years old and we offer three different sessions – mornings
(8.45 – 11.45am), school day (8.45am – 3.15pm) or an extended day (8am – 6pm).  Childcare vouchers and government funding are accepted, along with self-funded options. When the nursery first opened in November 2024, the nursery children worked within the existing reception class, however, due to the popularity and success of the new provision, the nursery will have it’s own space from September 2025.  Visits to the school are welcomed (call 020 8361 0767) and more information, along with the application form, can be found on our school website:  www.ololschool.enfield.sch.uk
