It was truly beautiful to gather on Tuesday evening for the vigil of the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes. We came together to commemorate the 1858 apparitions to St Bernadette while giving thanks for the gift of our parish. As we continue to treasure these moments of gratitude, let us pray that we may always deepen our devotion to our Lord and Our Blessed Mother.
ASH WEDNESDAY
This Wednesday is Ash Wednesday, a day of fasting and abstinence. Mass here will be celebrated at 8am, 10am (with music) and 7pm. Ashes will be imposed at all three Masses, but not outside of Mass. The car park will be available for all three Masses.
FAIR TRADE
Today the stall will be open in the hall, and Michael will give a short talk on the ‘Real Easter Eggs’ which will be available to order.
VENERAMUS
The next Veneramus evening will be on Monday 16th February at 7.30 pm. Please join us for a time of prayer, teaching, adoration, music and confession.
NEXT SUNDAY: FIRST SUNDAY OF LENT & LENTEN ALMS
Next weekend there will be a retiring collection after all Masses for the Archbishop’s Lenten Appeal which represents the main Lenten Alms collection in the diocese. Your generous support this Lent will enable the Church to be a visible sign of Christ’s love, within our parishes and among our neighbours. Envelopes will be available.

The Family Fast Day for Lent will take place on Friday 27 February.
WELCOME TO ARCHBISHOP RICHARD MOTH
On Saturday, Archbishop Moth was installed as the new Archbishop of Westminster during a special Mass in Westminster Cathedral. This is a significant moment both for him and for our diocesan family. Please continue to pray for the new archbishop as he takes up his new responsibilities.

Please join us for the Stations of the Cross this coming Friday morning at 10.25am (immediately after Mass 10am Mass), and every Friday during Lent.

OUR LADY OF LOURDES SCHOOL
The Governors at Our Lady of Lourdes Primary School are now accepting applications for their school nursery. Children are welcome to attend from the day they turn 3 years old and places are available for morning sessions (8.45am to 11.45am), afternoon sessions (12.15pm to 3.15pm), full school days (9am to 3.15pm) or extended days (8am to 6pm).
