HE IS RISEN - ALLELUIA!
Today is Easter Sunday, when we celebrate the great truth that Christ, who died on the cross, is truly risen from the dead. May God bless us in these days of Easter joy.

FR DAVID WRITES
Happy Easter to you all! I pray that you may enjoy a beautiful Easter Sunday today, as well as the days of the Easter Octave ahead of us. Thank you from Fr Tom and me for the kind cards, good wishes and Easter gifts we have received. On behalf of the whole parish, we would like to thank everyone who helped to prepare and celebrate the days of this Holy Week Easter, especially in terms of preparing the church and celebrating the liturgy. Can I also take this opportunity to thank and greet the whole parish on this holy day. I thank you for your presence, prayers, generosity and ministries throughout the year. Together, we bring ourselves and our many gifts to help build of community of faith and love. May God bless you all. This week I will make a visit to Rome until Thursday evening, and I look forward to seeing you again next weekend. As I go, please pray for the repose of the soul of the late Holy Father, Pope Francis, who died last year on Easter Monday, which was 21 April in the Holy Year. May he rest in peace.

EASTER OCTAVE & SEASON
Lent is over. Today the Easter Octave begins which lasts for eight days until the end of next Sunday, the Octave Day of Easter. The Easter Season lasts for fifty days of overflowing joy which will take us through Ascension to the great feast of Pentecost.

MASS THIS WEEK
Mass this week during the Easter Octave will be at 10 am only (Monday-Friday); Masses next weekend will be at the normal times. 

EASTER COLLECTION
Today we will take the Easter Collection at all Masses. Together with the Christmas Collection, this collection is very important for the life of the parish. We thank you in advance for your generosity. 

CONGRATULATIONS & WELCOME
Congratulations Stuart, Ellis, Rayden, Corinna, Harry, Marco and Amani who received the Sacraments of Initiation at the Easter Vigil. We welcome them into the life of the parish, and pray that they may continue to grow in faith and love.

PARISH OFFICE
Please remember that the Parish Office will be closed on Easter Monday. 

HELEN WESTBURY RIP
Please pray for the repose of the soul of Helen Westbury, and for her family Bob, Simon and Emma. Helen’s body will be received at on Monday 13 April at 6pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday 14 April at 10am. 

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION
The next meeting for parents will take place on Tuesday 14 April at 7pm in the Parish Hall. Children meet on Saturday 18 April 10am—12.15pm which includes the celebration of First reconciliation. Family Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 19th April at 11.15am. 

CONFIRMATION
Candidates and their sponsors are reminded of the rehearsal for Confirmation on Tuesday 14 April at 6.30pm.  The Sacrament of Confirmation will take place on Friday 17 April at 7pm.

BAPTISM
The next Baptism application evening will take place in the Parish Centre on Tuesday 12th May at 6.30pm.

DEANERY YOUNG ADULTS
Young adults (18-35) are invited to an Enfield Deanery gathering on Friday 10 April, 7.30-9.30pm at Our Lady & St Vincent, Potters Bar (EN6 2AT).
