FR TOM WRITES
On Wednesday, we celebrate the feast of St Bridget of Sweden, one of the six patrons of Europe, alongside St Benedict, St Thérèse of Lisieux, St Catherine, St Cyril and St Methodius. As we are encouraged to pray not only for ourselves and our loved ones but for the whole world, let us pray for Europe, that God's love may once more touch the hearts of all who dwell here.

END OF SCHOOL YEAR
On Tuesday we had a beautiful Leavers Mass for our year 6 class at Our Lady of Lourdes School. Please pray for this class that as they continue on to secondary school they may keep all they have learnt in their hearts, and continue to grow in wisdom, knowledge and faith. A big thank you to all the teachers and staff at the school, and we hope everyone may enjoy their summer break.

PARISH SHOP—VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Our parish shop is in urgent need of volunteers. We are very fortunate to have a beautiful variety of religious goods available to be bought, but if we cannot find volunteers to be present on Sunday mornings it will not be possible to have it open every week.

YOUTH CHOIR
For almost two years we have had a youth choir for 8-14 year olds who sing at the 6pm Mass on Saturdays. Please speak to one of the clergy or email the parish office if your child is interested in joining from September.
