ASSUMPTION
This weekend is the Feast of the Assumption. Today, we celebrate that Our Lady, when her earthly life had run its course, was assumed body and soul into the glory of heaven. In this way, she already participates in the fullness and ‘first-fruits’ of her Son’s resurrection from the dead. May Our Lady pray for us and guide us.
WEEKDAY MASSES (Monday to Friday) throughout August will be at 10 am. The church is normally open from approximately 8.30am to 6.30pm.
FATHER TOM is away this week. May he travel safely and enjoy his break.
THE HATTERS ESU returned from their Kenyan expedition full of stories of adventure, wildlife animals and amazing travels! We extend huge thanks to the parishioners of Our Lady of Lourdes, for their prayers, generosity and support during the entire process and especially with our fundraising and cake sales.
