FR DAVID WRITES
Today is the solemnity of All Saints - a light shining in the autumn darkness and a celebration of the brightness of God’s heavenly city. We rejoice in the salvation of the saints who have now become our heavenly intercessors. November is the month of the Holy Souls, and it begins this weekend with ‘All Hallow-tide’: a triduum of All Hallows Eve (the vigil of All Saints), the solemnity of All Saints, and All Souls’ Day. Please return names for our Book of Remembrance, and let us all pray for the dear Holy Souls this November. We hope that everyone had a good half-term break and that you all return feeling refreshed and excited!
