CAFOD HARVEST FAMILY FAST DAY:
Thank you all very much for your kind donations last weekend, which Cafod will put to very good use.  We raised £1,764.  Many thanks to those who completed the Gift Aid form. 

NO FAIR TRADE KITCHEN SINKS ON 19th OCTOBER?
We have quality, ethical, fair trade gifts.  You can pack them in seasonal wrapping paper designed in developing countries.  There is all your favourite Fair Trade items.  In fact, everything except…… 

OUR LADY OF LOURDES SCHOOL:
There is a vacancy for a part-time Play Leader 7½ hours per week  from November. Please contact the school on 0208 361 0767. 

DEREK FLANAGAN:
Edel, Annie & Caitlin Flanagan would like to thank everyone for their amazing support and kindness following Derek’s recent death.  Over £1,100 was raised for Macmillan Cancer support in lieu of funeral flowers – thank you.

OFFERTORY ENVELOPES:
Anyone who has not previously had a box of envelopes and wishes to make their weekly donation to the Parish by using them for Planned Giving, please complete and return a pledge card which can be obtained from the Paper Shop. Completed cards should be returned to the Office before 26th October.  Thank you.  

SECONDARY SCHOOL TRANSFER SIGNINGS:
The Priests will be available to sign transfer to secondary school forms onMonday 20th October 6.30pm – 8pm or Tuesday 21st October  6.30pm – 7.30pm.

Please sign up today for an appointment on the lists in the Parish Centre.  You MUST also hand in your Priest’s self assessment forms before the signings, by Thursday 16th October.  Please post through the Presbytery letter box. 

WEEKLY MASS TIMES:
Please note there will be no 8 am Masses this coming week. 

APF – WORLD MISSION SUNDAY:
Our annual collection for the Overseas Missions is next weekend, 18/19th October.  Please take an envelope if you would like to offer Gift Aid on your donation.  Many thanks. 

CEMETERY GRAVE BLESSINGS:
There will be a service at Waterfall Cemetery, Waterfall Road, with blessing of the graves, on Saturday 18th October at 11am.  All are most welcome to attend.  Please note there will be no morning confessions. 

CAR PARK CLEANING:
Volunteers, new and old, needed to help clean the Car Park on Saturday 18th October from 9am. Please bring a broom or garden equipment. 

OCTOBER’S BAPTISM COURSE:
Monday 13th at 7.30 pm in the Small Hall. 

2009 CONFIRMATION:
Application forms for next year’s Confirmation are available from the Paper Shop.  You should be at least 14 years old as of 31st August 2008.  Details are on the forms. 

SUNDAY MORNING REFRESHMENT VOLUNTEERS:
New rotas are available in the Paper shop for collection – thank you.
