CARD SALE:
The Ladies from the Paper Shop will be in the Parish Hall today after the 8.30am, 9.45am and 11.15am Masses. 

PARISH COUNCIL MEETING:
Monday 27th April at 8.15 pm.  If you didn’t get your minutes by email, there are some in the Paper Shop. 

BENCHES:
Now that our new Benches are in place we would like to keep them looking nice for as long as possible.We would ask parents not to allow their children to use pens or hard toys on them as these will mark the benches.  Thank you. 

FOUR SEASONS DRAW:
The Spring £1 a month draw will take place on Sunday 10th May.  Subscriptions need to be in by 9th May.  The draw takes place after the 9.45am Mass in the Hall.  Application forms are available in the Paper Shop for new members.

BAPTISM APPLICATIONS:
Please note the next date for Baptism applications will be on TUESDAY 5th May, 7.15 – 8 pm.  If you would like your child to be Baptised please attend the application evening.  The course will be on the following Monday May 11th at 7.30pm.   

ANNUAL WEEF COLLECTION:
Envelopes are available this weekend ready for the collection next weekend (2 / 3 May) for the Seminary (WEEF) Appeal.  Our Seminarian, Brian O’Mahoney, will speak at every Mass that weekend and there will be a second collection at every Mass.  You do not need to use the envelopes, of course, but if you pay tax and use an envelope, then the Seminary can claim an additional quarter of your donation from the Inland Revenue.  Please be as generous as you can.  Thank you. 

CONFIRMATION:
Candidates are reminded of their rehearsal on Wednesday 29th April.  Please arrive by 6.45 pm for a prompt start.  The Confirmation ceremony is on Saturday 2nd May at 3pm with Bishop John Arnold as the celebrant.

Karen Landi, our popular Brownie Leader, will be running the London Marathon today to raise money for Children with Leukaemia.  We wish her well and hope she meets her target of under seven hours!

The Requiem takes place on Monday 27th April at 10 am. 

FINCHLEY CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL:
Kevin Hoare, the Headteacher is retiring at the end of the summer after over thirty years service.  To mark the occasion the school has arranged a Mass of Thanksgiving to be held at St Mary Magdalen’s Church, Whetstone, N.20 on Thursday 18th June at 7pm.It is likely that more will wish to attend that the Church can hold, so tickets will be available on a first come – first served basis from Mrs Fran Kelly at the School (8445 0105).
