COLLEEN MORAN RIP:

Requiem Mass will take place on Thursday 24th March at 10am.  The body will be brought into church on 23rd March at 6.30 pm. 

LENT:

Stations of the Cross will take place after the 10am Mass  and at 7pm, which is led this week by the Cubs and Brownies. 

Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament will take place on Sunday afternoon from after the 12.30 pm mass – 5.30 pm.  You can add your name to the list in the porch if you are willing to stay for half an hour. 

This Lent, the Archbishop has asked us to use the book ‘Faithful Pilgrims’ as an aid for our study (available in the Paper Shop £1.50) which is based upon the talks and the homilies given by the Pope when he visited last year.  The next session will be on Wednesday 23rd March in the Upstairs meeting room. 

Also available is ‘Walk With Me’ which contains meditations for every day during Lent & costs £1.

THE FAIR TRADE STALL had its best ever weekend last Sunday, thanks to both our regular supporters and to all of you who visited the stall for the first time; and particular thanks to those new volunteers who will be joining the team from next month.  

MASS TIMES:

Please note there will be no 8 am Mass on Thursday. 

MARY STAPLETON RIP:

Reception of the body is on Monday 21st March at 7.30 pm, and the funeral is on Tuesday 22nd at 10 am. 

LENTEN ALMS:

During Lent we will be collecting tins of food for the Homeless in Barnet.  Please use the box at the back of the church.  You can also give Alms via the money box in the porch.  Thank you. 

CONFIRMATION 2011:

The next Confirmation session is on Wednesday 23rd  March at 7 pm.  If you are not able to attend, apologies need to be received by the Parish Office by midday on Wednesday. The day with the Ten Ten Theatre Group is on Saturday 26th March and begins with Mass at 10 am.  You will need to bring a packed lunch.  

READERS/SUNDAY REFRESHMENTS:

Please collect your new rotas from the Paper Shop today.  Many thanks. 

CAFOD FAMILY FAST DAY:

The CAFOD Family Fast Day was last Friday.  There will be a collection after all Masses this weekend for CAFOD and if you pay tax in the UK, please use the Gift Aid envelopes so that CAFOD can reclaim the tax you have already paid on your donation.  Thank you. 

GOOD FRIDAY:

Parishioners of all ages are invited to sign up to take part in our Good Friday morning service, presenting the Stations of the Cross with words, movement and action.  This requires a full-day commitment on Saturday 16th April. Please complete and return the form available in the Church porch to register.
