CAR PARK CLEANING:

Volunteers are needed to help clean the Car Park on Saturday June 18th from 9 am. 

LAY MINISTERS ROTAS:

New rotas for the period 23rd May – 7th August are now available for collection from the paper shop.  Please take yours today.  Thank you.

PARISH SATURDAY CLUB:

For learning disabilities and special needs.  The Club meets regularly and provides an afternoon of activities, games, music and getting together to chat. Come and join us on Saturday 4th June, 3pm-5pm, in the Parish Hall. Contact: Libby 07960 226421  

MASS TIMES:

There will be one Mass only on Bank Holiday Monday, at 10 am, after which the Church will be closed.  Please note there will be 8 am Mass on Tuesday and Thursday this week. 

CEMETERY MASS:

This will take place at the statue of Our Lady in New Southgate cemetery on Saturday June 4th at 11 am.If you are able please bring your own chair and an umbrella if it is very hot.Eucharistic Minister are needed for the Mass and there is a list in the Porch for you to sign – thank you.Please note there will be NO 10am Mass on this day and Confessions will be at 5.30pm only. 

JUNE BAPTISM COURSE:

The next course begins on Monday June 6th when you will be asked to complete the application form.  Please come to the Hall between 7 – 8 pm. 

MARGARET (PEGGY) SIDNEY RIP:

The Requiem Mass will take place on Wednesday, 1st June, at 10 am. 

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION:

The Thanksgiving Mass for the Children who received First Holy Communion this year will be celebrated on Sunday 12th June at the 11.15am Mass, at which the children will receive their certificates.  The photographer will also be available in the Parish Hall after this Mass for you to view to the First Holy Communion photographs. 

DIOCESAN CHARITIES COLLECTION:

There will be a special collection next weekend for the Diocesan Charities Catholic Education, Catholic Communications and Apostleship of the Sea.   

22nd SOUTHGATE SCOUT GROUP:

We would like to congratulate our Scout Group, which celebrated its 40th Anniversary this week.  From two leaders and 15 Cubs it has grown to become one of the largest and most successful in the District.  Happy Anniversary to you all!!
