FR DAVID WRITES
Today, the Fourth Sunday of Easter, is Good Shepherd Sunday and the World Day of Prayer for Vocations to the Priesthood. Please pray for Ashley, our own seminarian, who is currently completing his second year of formation (his first in Chelsea, as he was in Spain last year). Please also pray for more vocations in the diocese. Please also pray for our young candidates for First Holy Communion who made their First Confessions here yesterday (Saturday morning) and for their families. God bless you all.

STONEWORK IN THE SANCTUARY
This week, the stonemasons will return to continue working on our altar project, now that the steps have dried. Work should be completed by the beginning of May.

PRIEST TRAINING FUND
Today is Good Shepherd Sunday and a day when we pray for vocations. The collection for the Priest Training Fund will be taken. This fund pays for the formation of men for the priesthood. There are currently 49 men studying at Allen Hall seminary, 13 of whom are for our own diocese. Last year 3 deacons were ordained. The Priest Training Fund also supports the ongoing formation of our ordained priests. Your generous donation helps ensure we can support these men who are called to be like Christ the Good Shepherd. Donation envelopes are available at the back of the church. Please continue to pray for vocations and for our priests. You can use the QR code to make your donation online or visit www.rcdow.org.uk/donations. Thank you for your generosity.
