Minutes of last Parish Council meeting
The minutes of the parish council meeting of 3 December 2012 were signed as being correct by the Chair.

Finance
A Finance Committee meeting took place on 25 February 2013.  The accounts for the year ended 31 December 2012 were agreed and have been submitted to the diocese.

Income will need to be monitored closely to establish the effect of the Growing in Faith fundraising campaign on parish finances.

There is some heavy expenditure on the horizon including replacement of the boiler and upgrading of the telephone and CCTV systems.

The paper shop remains profitable but stock needs to constantly reviewed to try to ensure that the right items are stocked.

Fundraising
It appears that the parish will fall short of its Growing in Faith target of £330,000. The amount pledged to date stands at £250,000. The Growing in Faith team has written to parishioners that have indicated that they will contribute but have not yet provided their bank details.

Prayer and Evangelisation
The advent talks based on the Creed were well received.
The program of talks for lent based on the documents of the second Vatican Council is continuing.

Ecumenism
Parishioners took part in a service at Christchurch New Southgate to celebrate Womens World Day of Prayer on 7 March.

Parish Hall
The radiators in the hall will require an overhaul in the near future
Double glazing work has been completed on the windows.

Website/IT/Security
Security is an ongoing concern following recent attempted thefts of the candle and porch money boxes, and Gerard is chasing up quotes in respect of the upgrading of the CCTV system.

The next meeting will be the parish AGM which will take place on Sunday 28 April.
