If you want a say in the running of the parish, if you have a question, a suggestion or a hope, then come along to the Parish AGM, next Sunday 29th June at 7.30pm in the hall. Apart from our yearly report, the meeting also elects new members of the Parish Council, so if you would like to stand then be there.
Of course, I know that not everybody will be able to attend, so if you have something you'd like to put to the meeting and can't do so yourself, then contact me and I will act as your spokesman.
This meeting should also serve to highlight areas where we can proclaim the Gospel better, and if you have any ideas or suggestions, we'd love to hear them. In light of the recent statistics showing an all-time high in the number of abortions last year and the recent refusal of the Government to do anything about this, we have to look seriously at what we can do to promote the Gospel of Life in the face of this tidal wave of death.
