OUR LADY OF LOURDES SCHOOL FAIR:
This Saturday, 1st December, in the School Hall between 12 noon – 3 pm.
ACTION FOR HOMELESS IN BARNET:
This Advent we will be collecting once again for the Homeless in Barnet, but this year the charity have asked if we could donate toiletries as well as tins of food. Thank you.
PLANNED GIVING BOXES:
The new boxes for the coming year are available at the back of the Church. They are in alphabetical order – please take yours today.
CHURCH CLEANING VOLUNTEERS:
Every Monday morning the Church is swept and cleaned. If you can spare a couple of hours once a month please call Eileen Nagle on 8882 0379.
CONVENT MASS:
Thursday 29th at 7.30pm. All welcome.
CHOIR FOR MIDNIGHT MASS:
Is there a tenor amongst you? We’d love you to sing with us at Christmas and hopefully attend some rehearsals on Friday nights at 8 pm. If you are interested, please call Maureen, 8887 7571, or Kathy, 8445 7812, or turn up this Friday. We would also welcome a soprano and an alto.
ANOINTING OF THE SICK MASS:
Is on Saturday 8th December at 2.30 pm, followed by refreshments in the Hall. There will be no 10 am mass that day.
CHRISTMAS PARTY:
Everybody who helps in any way in and around the Parish is invited to our Parish Christmas Party on Saturday 8th December from 7.30pm in the Big Hall.
MENCAP COFFEE MORNING:
Many thanks to all those who helped to make this such a successful event. We raised the magnificent sum of £640. Unclaimed prizes are in the Office for Lizzie Allen and ticket 267.
MARGARET HEALY RIP:
The Requiem takes place on Thursday 29th November at 10 am. Reception of the Body is on the 28th at 7 pm.
ADVENT WREATHS:
Please bring your Advent Wreath to Mass next weekend for a blessing.
Advent candles are available from the Paper shop.
