STATIONS OF THE CROSS:
Every Friday in Lent at 10.30 am and 7.30 pm. This week the evening Stations will be led by the Saturday Morning Group.

CHURCHES TOGETHER “STATIONS OF THE CROSS”:

This will take place on Saturday 5th April, beginning with the First Station at Christ Church, Whetstone URC, at 11 am, then along the High Road to the final station at St John’s, Whetstone at approximately 12 noon.  All are welcome.

ADULT CONFIRMATION:
If you are a Baptised adult who has not been Confirmed, but would like to receive the Sacrament, please collect a form from the Sacristy after Mass.  Confirmation will take place in Westminster Cathedral in May.  

BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT:
If you would like to speak to a bereavement volunteer please fill in one of the forms in the Church Porch and you will be contacted.

MASSES AT OUR LADY OF LOURDES:
Please note that all Masses to be celebrated here are fully booked until the end of May.  If you require a specific date you are advised to visit the Office at least 5 months before that date.  Masses can be sent to the Missions, where they will be celebrated on a regular basis, but we can not offer a date for these. Please enquire at the Parish Office for more information about booking a Mass.

LENTEN ALMS:

The Diocesan charities this year are “Aid to the Church in Need” and “The Bakhita Fund in association with Caritas Westminster”.  Alms can be placed in the Box in the church porch.

SATURDAY CLUB:
Meets on Saturday, April 5th between 3 – 5 pm in the Parish Hall.

BAPTISM APPLICATIONS:
The April course begins on Monday 7th April.  Please come to the Parish Centre between 7 – 8 pm to complete an application form.  The second part of the course is on Monday 14th April at 7.30 pm in the Small Hall.

CONFIRMATION 2014:
The next session of the Confirmation Course is on Wednesday 2nd April at 7 pm in the Parish Centre.

LENT REFLECTION GROUP TALKS:
The next talk is on Tuesday 1st April at 7.30 pm in the Small Hall. The topic is, “The Church for the poor and the marginalised ”.  All welcome.

TOILETRIES AND TINS FOR THE HOMELESS:
Thank you all for your donations so far this Lent.  If you would still like to donate tins of food or toiletries for Homeless Action in Barnet, please leave them in the box at the back of the church. 

READERS AND PAPER SHOP VOLUNTEERS:
New rotas are available for collection from the Paper Shop today.  Thank you.

BERNADETTE CLUB:
The Bernadette Club meets on Friday, April 4th, between 2  – 4 pm in the Parish Hall.  If you would like to know more about the Club please contact the Parish Office.

GIFT AID APPEAL:
If you were away last weekend, you will have missed our campaign to get more people to sign up for Gift Aid, This is a Government scheme that allows the parish to reclaim the tax that you have already paid on the amount you have given us – which adds 25p to every £1 we receive.  If you pay tax and are willing to help in this way, please fill in one of our Gift Aid forms. You will find them at the back of the church. Thank you to those who have already completed a form.
