WORLD MISSION SUNDAY:
A very big thank your for your generous donations to World Mission Sunday last weekend. A total of £1,697 was collected.
DEMENTIA FRIENDS:
You are invited to attend an informal information session to learn about the Dementia Friends Initiative and how we can create dementia friendly communities, in the Parish Hall on either: Saturday 1st, or 8th November at 4.30 pm, or Friday 7th, or Tuesday 11th, at 7.30 pm. Each session will last an hour – you only have to attend once! Please register your intention to attend on the Dementia Friends Website, www.dementiafriends.org.uk, or leave your name with the Office.
EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS & READERS:
There will be an afternoon of reflection and discussion for Eucharistic Ministers and Readers on Saturday 29th November, from 1.30 to 5.30 pm. Please make every effort to attend.
NOVEMBER BLESSING OF THE GRAVES:
If you wish to have a grave blessed please meet at the entrance of the cemeteries on the following dates and times in November:
Trent Park: 2.30 pm on Sunday 9th.
Bells Hill: 3 pm on Sunday 16th.
New Southgate: 2.30 pm on 23rd.
LAVENDER HILL:
Graves at Lavender Hill/Strayfield Road Cemetery will be blessed on Sunday 2nd November at 3 pm. Meet in front of the chapel for a short service. Priests from OLSG, Enfield will then be available to bless individual graves.
ALL SAINTS:
The Feast of All Saints will be celebrated on Sunday 2nd November.
ALL SOULS DAY:
All Souls Day will be commemorated on Monday 3rd November, with Mass at 8 am and 10 am. There will also be a Candle Mass at 7.30 pm, at which you will be invited to light a candle in remembrance of your departed loved ones, and the Book of the Dead will be placed on the Sanctuary.
FR.ALAN ASHTON RIP:
Fr. Alan’s family and I want to thank all those who came to his funeral or who sent kind messages and Mass cards. We have been deeply touched by your loving and prayerful support and much comforted by the knowledge that so many have been the beneficiaries of Alan’s listening ear and loving heart. Fr. Paul McGinn.
FOUR SEASONS AUTUMN DRAW:
The Autumn Draw will take place on Sunday 9th November in the Parish Hall after the 9.45 am Mass. Please forward your subscriptions to the Parish Office by Saturday 8th November. Thank you.
ALTAR SERVERS:
If you would like to become an altar server, please leave your name and details with the Parish Office. You should have already made your First Holy Communion. Training will take place over three Saturday mornings.
CONVENT MASS:
The next Convent Mass will be on Thursday 6th November at 7.30 pm.

NOVEMBER DEAD ENVELOPES:
These are now available at the back of the church. Please take an envelope and sheet for your list of departed loved ones. Envelopes can be posted through the Presbytery letter box (beside the blue door).
