CARDINAL’S MASS OF THANKSGIVING FOR THE SACRAMENT OF MATRIMONY
Westminster Cathedral, Saturday 23rd May 2015 at 3 pm.
The Archbishop will be inviting, to this Mass, all couples in the Diocese who are celebrating their 10th, 25th, 30th, 40th, 50th and 60th (and every year over 60) wedding anniversary of Catholic marriage in 2015. If you are celebrating an anniversary, please give the Parish Office the following details: husband and wife’s names, wedding date, full postal address and email (or telephone number, if no email). Thank you.
FAIR TRADE
January's Fair Trade sale includes a good number of bargains at greatly reduced prices as well as our regular popular items. It is in the Hall after the 6.30 pm Mass on Saturday, and on Sunday morning until the start of the 12.30 pm Mass.
ALTAR LINEN AND CHALICES:
If you can spare 15 minutes or so after the 10 am Mass on Monday mornings, and would like to help with cleaning the altar items, please contact the Parish Office with your details. Thank you.
CONFIRMATION 2015:
All those Candidates who have registered for Confirmation are asked to book an appointment to meet the Catechists and Priest by signing up on the sheet in the Paper shop. Please take an application form which must be returned when you attend your appointment on Wednesday 4th February.

CHILDREN’S LITURGY ROTA:
Rotas for all catechists including those who have newly signed up are available in the Paper Shop.
AFTERNOON TEA GROUP:
There will be a meeting for volunteers on Thursday 22nd January at 7.30 pm in the Parish Office.
UNIFORMED GROUPS:
Meetings restart this week at the usual times on Mondays for Beavers (6-8 yrs), Cubs (8–10 ½) and Scouts (10 ½ –14), Wednesdays for Scouts and Thursday for Brownies (girls, 7–10). If you would like to know more about the Groups, please consult the website or see the posters in the Parish Hall.
JANUARY SALE:
The Big Sale will take place in the Parish Hall on Saturday 24th January, after the 6.30 pm Mass, and on Sunday 25th after all Morning Masses.
Any donations of gifts, books, toys, DVD’s, CD’s, toiletries and raffle prizes etc will be most welcome. Cakes on the day will be a big help.
Items for sale may be left in the Parish Office during opening times or in the Paper Shop during the weekend Mass times. All proceeds from the Sale will go towards a video link from the Church to the Parish Hall for relay of the Mass during busy services.
