CRIB APPEAL:
A very big thank you for you donations to the Crib Appeal. A total of £1153 was donated for the Children’s Society.
OFFERTORY COUNTING ROTA:
Your new rota for 2016 is now available – there are copies in the paper shop but if you would like it emailed to you please let the office know. Group 4 are counting today, and Group 5 on Sunday 17th January.
CHILDREN’S LITURGY ROTA:
There are new rotas available for collection from the Paper Shop today. Please check you rota and if you are unavailable on any dates please let the Parish Office know.
READERS' ROTA:
New Rotas are available in the Paper Shop for those readers who do not receive theirs by email. If you would like to receive your future rotas by email please let the Parish office know.
MASS OFFERINGS:
The Diocese regulates the suggested minimum for donations or offerings for a Mass. Some time ago the Diocese set this at £10. This is a guide but not mandatory.
Mass Intentions for specific dates can be booked through the Parish Office.
FAIR TRADE STALL:
The Fair Trade Stall will be open this weekend at the usual times in the Parish Hall.
CARMINE SCHIAVONE RIP:
Requiem Mass will take place on Wednesday 13th January at 10am.
INES VITALE RIP:
Requiem Mass Tuesday 19th January at 10am.
BRIAN MCBRIDE RIP:
Requiem Mass Thursday 21st January at 12 Noon.
OUR LADY OF LOURDES DROP IN CENTRE:
Will be opening on Wednesday 13th January 10.30am – 1pm. Caritas will be supporting the drop in centre which will open to everyone for advice, tea & friendship.
JANUARY SALE:
The January Sale will take place in the Parish Hall on Saturday 23rd after the 6.30pm Mass and on Sunday 24th after all morning Masses. Any donations of gifts, books, toys, DVD’s, CD’s, toiletries, and raffle prizes will be most welcome. Cakes on the day will be a big help. Items for sale may be left in the Parish Office during opening times or in the Paper Shop during weekend Mass times. Do please come along and support this Parish Event.
NEW EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS:
Many thanks to all who volunteered to become Eucharistic Ministers – we will contact you about training in the New Year.
FINCHLEY CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL:
Will be celebrating its 90th anniversary throughout 2016. There are many events planned and the school are appealing to the local community and in particular to past students and teachers for information and photographs from their time at the school.
