October's Fair Trade stall is open next weekend, October 8th & 9th, at the usual times.

SECONDARY SCHOOL PRIEST REFERENCE FORM SIGNINGS:
Parents who have handed in a self-assessment form in July are invited to sign up for an appointment to have their secondary school certificate of Catholic practice signed, on Monday 10th October.  Please see the list in the Paper Shop.

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION 2017:
Parents are reminded of their meeting on Tuesday, October 4th, at 8 pm in the Parish Hall.  Children’s session will be on Saturday 8th, at 10 am  and the Family celebration Mass on Sunday 9th  at 11.15 am.

ST. ANNE'S - QUIZ NIGHT:
There is a quiz night at St. Anne's Catholic High School on Friday 14th October at 7 pm at the Upper Site in Palmers Green.  Tickets are £10 each and include a Ploughmans.  Tables of 6-8 people are invited.  Please contact the school, on 020 8886 2165, if you are interested in attending.

CAFOD HARVEST FAST DAY:
CAFOD Harvest Fast Day is Friday 7th October .  This year we are invited to join 32-year-old Nicanora, from Bolivia, on her journey from poverty to abundance.  We can stand alongside Nicanora as she learns new skills and receives materials and seeds that will enable her to grow enough food to feed her family.  Please pick up a Fast Day envelope and give what you can.  Thank you.  Envelopes will be collected next weekend.

SATURDAY CLUB:

Meet on Saturday, October 8th, at 3 pm in the Parish Hall.

PLANNED GIVING SCHEME:
It would be a great help to the parish if you are able to make your offering each week through the Planned Giving envelope scheme or by standing order. If you are also able to ‘Gift Aid’ your donation the parish would gain a further 25% of your donation in tax relief from HMRC, without any cost to yourself. Application forms are in the porch at the back of the church. Thank you.

If you have made your First Holy Communion and are interested in becoming an Altar Service please sign the tear off slip at the bottom of the Newsletter and post through the Presbytery letter box.

MACMILLAN BIG COFFEE THANK YOU:
The Scouts would like to thank all who support the Macmillan Big Coffee morning last Sunday.  It raised over £400.00.  A full list of all the winning raffle tickets is on the Scout's notice board in the hall foyer.
