NEW SOUTHGATE CEMETERY MASS:
The Annual Cemetery Mass will take place on Saturday 3rd June at 11 am. We welcome Eucharistic Ministers and readers – please put your name on the list in the porch if you would like to help at the Mass. All parishioners are advised to bring a chair if you are going to attend.
Please note there will be no 10 am Mass or morning confessions on Saturday 3rd.
AID TO THE CHURCH IN NEED APPEAL:
This weekend we welcome John Ravi, secretary for Aid to the Church in Need for the Archdiocese of Westminster, who will make an appeal during all Masses. Aid to the Church in Need is a Catholic charity which works in140 countries, helping persecuted and oppressed Christians around the world through prayer, information and action. At the moment, it is involved in frontline works in Syria and Iraq. The Requiem Mass will take place on Wednesday 31st May at 10 am.
DANNY MURPHY RIP:
The Requiem Mass will take place on Friday, June 2nd at 10 am.
KATHLEEN MAHER RIP:
The Requiem Mass will take place on Friday 9th June at 10 am.
BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY:
There will be one Mass this Monday, at 10 am, after which the church will be closed.
FR TOM:
As you will be aware Fr Tom will be retiring this Summer after Fifty Years of Priesthood and sixteen years as our Parish Priest at Our Lady of Lourdes. As part of our farewell to him we will be celebrating on Saturday 17th June with Mass at 6.30 pm followed by a reception in the Parish Hall. All Parishioners are invited.
We will be having a collection for Fr Tom on the weekend of 10th/11th June.
PARISH AGM:
This takes place on Sunday 11th June at 7.30 pm (after the 6.30 pm Mass). It will be Fr. Tom’s last as parish priest, so it would be nice to see you all there!
ST MICHAEL’S CATHOLIC SCHOOL:
If you are considering applying for a place for your daughter at St Michael’s for September 2018 please sign up for an appointment on Monday 5th June and take a self-assessment form which should be returned as soon as possible.
BLESSED TANSI PILGRIMAGE:
The annual Pilgrimage in honour of Blessed Cyprian Iwene Tansi is at Mount St Bernard Abbey, Coalville on Saturday 26th August. If you are interested in going, please contact Bernadette Igboaka on 07813 367787.

Coffee morning and Bring and Buy Sale at 12, Betstyle Road on Wednesday 31st May, 10 am-12 noon. Do come along for a cup of money and a chat with friends. All proceeds to North London Hospice.

An inspiring outdoor performance re-enacting the Life of Christ takes place annually in Wintershall estate, Guildford.
