WORLD MISSION SUNDAY:
This is your chance to support our missionaries proclaiming the Gospel of peace to those who suffer around the world.  By supporting Missio, the Pope’s official charity for overseas mission, you will be sharing the peace and love of Christ with all people by helping everyone in need, regardless of background of belief. Please give what you can, and if possible, please use the Gift Aid envelopes if you are a taxpayer.  Thank you.

MARGARET CATRACCHIA RIP:
There will be a Memorial Mass for Margaret on Friday, October 27th at 10 am, after which her ashes will be taken for burial.  The family will return for refreshments in the Hall, to which all are invited.

Christmas Cards and Advent Wreath Candles are now available from the Paper Shop.

PARISH PILGRIMAGE:
Fr. David would like to propose a Pilgrimage to the Holy Land in October 2018.  This promises to be an amazing experience.  Five nights staying in Galillee and Bethlehem, following in the footsteps of Jesus, Mary and the disciples.  Please collect a sheet from the back of the chuch or see Fr. David if you are interested.

BECOMING AN ALTAR SERVER:
Anyone who has done their First Communion is welcome to apply to become a server.  Please return the tear off slip below if you would like to know more.

MARY’S MEALS:
A very big thank you to all who supported Mary’s Meals last weekend. A fantastic sum of £1,553 was raised to be sent to the charity.

NOVEMBER DEAD ENVELOPES:
November is the month when we remember our departed friends and family.  There are sheets at the back of the church for your lists.  Please return through the Presbytery letter box in the envelope provided with your contribution for the Masses.

There will Mass in the Convent at 2, Brookdale, on Thursday 26th October at 7.30 pm - All are welcome.
