FR STEWART HASKER:
At the end of the month, Fr Stewart will join our parish team to assist Fr David. Fr Stewart has worked as a priest in several appointments, including Chiswick and Isleworth, and comes to us from his sabbatical. We look forward to welcoming him to our parish.

FAIR TRADE STALL:
The stall will be open at the usual times this weekend – pop in and find a bargain for Father’s Day!!

RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION OF ADULTS (RCIA):
If you, or someone you know, are thinking of becoming a Catholic and would like to know more, please complete a RCIA form from the porch at the back of the church and return to the Parish Office.  The course will begin in September and runs through  to Easter.

DIOCESAN COLLECTIONS:
There will be a collection after all Masses this weekend.  The collection will be split between ‘Day for Life’ and the Catholic Communication Network.  
Day for Life, this year, focuses on human trafficking.  You can find out more about what can be done to assist those who have become victims on www.dayforlife.org.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         
The Communications Office of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of England and Wales supports the bishops, in particular, and the Church more widely in promoting the Gospel through digital, social, print and broadcast media.

CONFIRMATION CATECHIST VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:
Volunteers are needed to help with preparing our young people for the rite of Confirmation.  The Course runs from February to May on a Saturday afternoon from 4.30 pm.  Please contact the Parish Office for further details – thank you.

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION 2019:
Application forms for children who will be seven years old by the 31st August 2018,  will be available from next week for three weeks only.  Please make sure you pick yours up.

OUR LADY OF LOURDES SCHOOL:
Has been shortlisted to be Sainsbury’s local charity of the year.  You can help by voting in the store or online www.sainsburyslocalcharity.co.uk and searching for ‘Arnos Grove’.  Voting closes 24th June – thank you.

FR DAVID - 10th Anniversary of Priesthood & 40th Birthday!
In July Fr David will celebrate his 40th birthday, and in November will mark his tenth anniversary of ordination. We are holding a celebration in the Parish Hall after the 6.30 pm Mass on Saturday 30th June. All are welcome!

ST MICHAEL’S SCHOOL 2019 ADMISSIONS:
There will be two Open Day sessions for 2019 admissions on Thursday 28th June at 3.30 pm and 5 pm.  Forms can be downloaded from www.st-michaels.barnet.sch.uk and must be returned by Tuesday 10th July.
