MARY’S MEALS:
Volunteers will be at the Saturday vigil and Sunday morning Masses on the weekend of 14th/15th July. The deadline for all clothing donations is 12.30 on Sunday 15th July, as that is when the van leaves for the final time.
Mary’s meals are happy to accept:
- CLOTHING (men, women & children)
- BEDDING (blankets, sheets, pillow cases, valances)
- TEXTILES (incl. curtains, towels etc.)
- LEATHER GOODS (shoes, bags , belts)
Please no cushions, duvets or pillows.
Mary’s Meals feeds children one good school meal every day in 15 countries. Because of our low costs we can do this for as little as £13.90 per child per year!
FIRST HOLY COMMUNION 2019:
Application forms for children who will be seven years old by the 31st August 2018, are available from the Sacristy today, for two more weeks only. Please make sure you pick yours up.
RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION OF ADULTS (RCIA):
If you are thinking of becoming a Catholic and would like to know more, please complete a RCIA form from the porch.
ACN AWARENESS DAY:
Please collect a leaflet and prayer card from Aid to the Church in Need at the back of the Church today. ACN support Christians who are persecuted, oppressed and in pastoral need.
BERNADETTE CLUB:
The next meeting is on Friday 6th July between 2 – 4 pm. Members who would like to go on the group outing to Herne Bay on 22nd August are asked to bring your £17 ticket price to the meeting on Friday. Cheers!
PETER’S PENCE/APOSTLESHIP OF THE SEA:

BISHOP MCALEENAN:
Bishop McAleenan is the Auxiliary Bishop for Hertfordshire. He will say the 11.15 am Mass on Sunday 8th July to welcome candidates for the Permanent Diaconate. Please note that the 12.30 Mass that day will begin at 12.45 pm.
JULY BAPTISM APPLICATIONS:
Please come to the Parish Centre between 7 – 8 pm on Monday 9th July to complete an application form.
