CARDINAL’S MASS OF THANKSGIVING FOR SACRAMENT OF MATRIMONY Saturday 8th June, Westminster Cathedral:
The Cardinal will be inviting to this Mass all couples in the Diocese who are celebrating their 5th 10th, 25th, 30th, 40th, 50th and 60th (and every year over 60) wedding anniversary of Catholic marriage in 2019. The next FMQT takes place at Farm Street on Thursday 7th February at 6.45 pm on the topic of ‘Violent Crime in London: What Can Be Done?’

DAY OF PRAYER AGAINST HUMAN TRAFFICKING:
On Friday, 8th February, Catholics all over the world will celebrate the feast of St Josephine Bakhita as the International Day of Prayer and Awareness Against Human Trafficking. This year's focus will be on victims of trafficking in forced labour and labour exploitation. In your prayers please remember all those exploited, and the valuable work that is already going on as we raise awareness against human trafficking. SETTLEMENT SCHEME FOR EU CITIZENS:
There is a statement from Bishop Paul McAleenan on behalf of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of England and Wales concerning the settlement of EU citizens currently in the UK who do not have UK or Irish citizenship, after the country has exited the European Union. Please take a copy or see the copy displayed in the outside noticeboard.

Our Monday Flower Group for people with learning disabilities will be holding a Flower Stall Sale in the Parish Hall on Sunday, 10th February after the morning masses. Come and get your Valentine sorted here!!

The next gathering of the group is next Sunday, 10th February, at 3 pm.
FORTHCOMING CELEBRATIONS:
Monday, 4th February, the 10 am Mass, will be followed by St Blaise's blessing on throats. (NB Throats will not be blessed on the Sunday).
Monday, 11th February, 10 am Mass for the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes (including the primary school) followed by tea, coffee and cakes in the church hall for parishioners.
CONFIRMATION 2019:
There will be a meeting on 12th February at 7.30 pm for parents and candidates who have already signed up for the course. Please bring forms, payment and baptism certificates if not baptised at Our Lady of Lourdes – thank you.
FEBRUARY BAPTISM COURSE:
The next course begins tomorrow, Monday 4th February. Please come to the Parish Hall between 7 – 8 pm to complete your application form. The second part of the course is on Monday 11th February at 7.30 pm.
