FR ANDREW WRITES
A very Happy New Year to you all. The turning of the year is a wonderful opportunity to take stock of our lives and to look to the future with renewed hope and enthusiasm. Very many of you came to church on the 1st of January to dedicate the new year to Almighty God through the intercession of Mary the Mother of God. That is a great way to begin! This Sunday we celebrate the great feast of the Epiphany of the Lord. Let us resolve as a parish community to put the Word of God made flesh at the centre so our lives may reveal his love to the world.

FOUR SEASONS WINTER DRAW
The winners of the Winter Draw were:
First Prize—£133.20, Brenda Aye
Second Prize—£55.50, Protasio Pinagli
Third Prize—£33.30, Elizabeth Hosford.
Congratulations to all of them!
Thank you all very much for your continued support for the Draw over all the years we have been running it! Last year we made £1,070.38 after prizes were given out.
If you would like to take part in the Four Seasons Draw, it is held once a quarter in March, June, September and December, usually on the last Sunday of the month. The stake is £1 a month, or £3 a quarter. It would help immeasurably if you paid your £12 for the year in January. You are also welcome to pay by standing order—there are forms in the paper shop— please arrange for your payment to be made before the 10th of the month, so that we can check payment before putting your name in the Draw.
