We had a lovely school Mass on Tuesday for children, staff and parents of Year six. We wish them all well in their new schools in September. Whichever schools they are moving onto we are all part of the Parish family and we welcome them back with their families in September.
For all those going on holiday I wish them a very safe journey and peaceful rest.

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION APPLICATIONS 2024
Application forms are now available in the church porch for next year’s First
Holy Communion programme. Please complete the sign up sheet and take an application form. These should be returned NO LATER THAN 13th AUGUST along with the requested seating plan information. Please take note of this important information.

A very happy birthday to Ramon, one of our servers who will be 90 on Friday. We thank him for many, many years of generous and reliable support to the Parish. Have a lovely day Ramon!

AID TO THE CHURCH IN NEED GROUP
Our ACN group invite parishioners to join them in praying the rosary for persecuted Christians after the 10am Sunday Mass. They also invite new members to join them. Please speak to Anuli Igboaka or one of the priests.
WORLD YOUTH DAY - LISBON 2023
As many of you know, this summer the World Youth Day will take place in Lisbon, Portugal. Pope Francis will meet with many hundreds of thousands of young Catholics. Please pray for the Pope and all the young people who will attend. This week it was announced that the Pope will now also visit the shrine of Our Lady of Fatima during the visit too, to pray especially for peace in Ukraine, Europe and throughout the world.

There will be a meeting to discuss and plan for Red Wednesday on Sunday 30th July 11:30-12:30pm in the small hall. Anyone interested in helping is welcome and invited to come along for the meeting.

A huge thank you to all those who continue to donate every week. It is really appreciated by the families that use the foodbank. We will collect donations throughout the summer and these can be left in the box at the back of the Church. Please only leave non perishable items. Thank you.
