FR TOM WRITES
A massive thank you to all who enabled our celebration of the feast of Our Lady of Lourdes to be such a resounding success. It was beautiful to celebrate the gift of our patronal saint, and to welcome Bishop Curry who implored us to be pilgrims into hope during this Jubilee Year. We were also asked to pray for all those around the world who find themselves without hope for whatever reason, in particular for all those in places that are experiencing war at this time. Let us pray for them, through the intercession of Our Blessed Mother, and Patronal Saint, the Virgin Mary. As he previously mentioned, Fr David will be in Rome this week Monday to Thursday.
RACIAL JUSTICE SUNDAY
Today is the 30th annual day of prayer for Racial Justice. Bishop Paul McAleenan, Lead Bishop for Racial Justice, is imploring us to pray for this just cause: “It is my hope that our Racial Justice Sunday 2025 resources will not only assist but inspire the People of God to continue walking and praying together on the path to racial justice.”

WIFI & LIVESTREAM
As you know, we are getting new fibre broadband installed to restore our internet and streaming. However, the people from Openreach were unable to complete the work on Tuesday and now need to return to fix the work underground. This is an unfortunate delay. Hopefully soon we will be back up and running. Our new phones are also being installed - we are working now to have the voicemail reactivated. Please God, these temporary difficulties will soon be long behind us!!
