SATURDAY CATECHISM CLASSES:
If you would like your child to make their First Holy Communion and they attend a Non Catholic school, please collect an application form from the Paper Shop.  They must be at least six years old by the 31st August 2008.   

CATECHIST NEEDED:
To help the children who attend non Catholic schools to prepare for First Holy Communion.  This will involve a commitment of one Saturday morning a month during term time.  If you can help please contact the office – thank you 

PARISH COUNCIL MEETING:
This Monday, September 8th, at 8.15 pm in the Small Hall.  If you haven’t received your minutes of the last meeting by email, please check the yellow folder in the Paper shop.   

COURSE FOR NEW CATHOLICS begins on Sunday 14th September at 11 am.  Please meet Aileen in the Hall lobby.   Please come if you are still making up your mind. 

BAPTISM SIGNINGS:
The September course begins with the completion of Baptism forms between 6.30 – 7.30 pm on Monday 8th September.  Please come to the Hall Lobby.

Edmund Adamus will give three talks on “Towards a Civilisation of Love” at Our Lady of Mount Carmel and St George, 45 London Rd, Enfield EN2 6DS.

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION 2009 APPLICATIONS FORMS:
If you would like to register your child for our First Holy Communion Course application forms are available in the paper shop.  Registration is this week:  Monday 8th and Tuesday 9th September between 6.30 – 7.30 pm.  Children should be at least seven years old as of 31st August 2008.  Please note, if your child was on the Catechism course last year you will still need to complete a form and attend on one of the evenings.

CAKE SALE & RAFFLE:
Next Sunday, September 14th, after the 8.30am, 9.45am and 11.15am Masses in the Parish Hall.  Delicious homemade cakes for sale.All proceeds will be donated to Children with Visual Impairment.  If you would like to donate a cake please bring it along before the Mass – thank you.
