More and more fair trade is appearing in supermarkets thanks to demand created by small parish stalls like ours.  A prize to everyone who spots the new food (absolutely no need to buy it) on our May Fair Trade Stall today.

SATURDAY CLUB FOR LEARNING DIFFICULTIES/SPECIAL NEEDS:

FOUR SEASONS SPRING DRAW:
Congratulations to Mary Tilki, who won First Prize of £238.35, Mary Campbell, who won Second Prize of £68.10 and James Monaghan, who won Third Prize of £34.05 in the Spring Draw.New members are always welcome.  Membership costs a mere £12 a year.  Application forms can be found in the Paper Shop on any Sunday.    

THANKS TO ALL who helped to make the First Holy Communion Mass yesterday such a happy occasion.  Please continue to pray for those who received Holy Communion for the first time this year. 

DIOCESAN CHARITIES COLLECTION:
There will be a special collection after all Masses next weekend for the Diocesan Charities:  Catholic Communications, Racial Justice, Catholic Education centre and the Agency for Evangelisation.  Please be as generous as you can.  Thank you. 

ARCHBISHOP VINCENT NICHOLS will be installed as the eleventh Archbishop of our Diocese on Thursday 21st May.  The Mass will be televised live on BBC 2, beginning at 11.45am.   He will offer Mass at the Parish of St Edward the Confessor, Finchley Road, Golders Green, at 7.30pm on 2nd June.

TRIP TO THE FRIARS, AYLESFORD:
There will be a Day Out for people with learning difficulties and their families to The Friars, Aylesford on Saturday 13th June, 2009.  The cost is £10 per person or £25 per family group.  You can travel by car, or a coach will leave from OLOL at 8.30am.  If you travel by car, you should aim to arrive for the Mass at Midday.  To ensure a place you should contact Sheila Isaac on 07910 177788 before 8th June.
