BECOMING A CATHOLIC:
Are you someone who is thinking of becoming a Catholic, or even simply wanting to find out more about the Catholic Faith? Has been coming to Mass for some time but has not taken the further step? Is over 18 and not yet confirmed? If you would like more information, please contact a member of the Parish Team or take an RCIA application form from the Paper Shop.
COFFEE MORNING:
Please note there will be no refreshments in the Parish Hall after Masses from 2nd August. Business as usual from 6th September.
DATE FOR YOUR DIARIES:
There will be a Parish Lunch on Sunday 4th October from 1.30pm in the Parish Hall. Tickets priced £10.50 for a three course buffet lunch including wine will go on sale on the 6th September after all Masses. All proceeds toward Sanctuary flooring.
CALLING ALL SERVERS:
Please note – there will be no rota until the beginning of September. Please check in the Sacristy when you arrive for Mass and offer to serve where you can. Many thanks.

8 AM MASS:
There will be no 8 am Masses during the month of August.
THE BARBEQUE:
Thank you to all who worked so hard to make last Saturday’s bar-b-que such a success. Everyone who was there were full of praise for the food and for those who prepared and cooked it.
FIRST HOLY COMMUNION 2010:
Forms are still available from the Paper Shop for the First Holy Communion programme for Parishioners. Children must be at least 7 years old by 31st August 2009. If your child attends a Catholic school or attended last year’s course for children at non Catholic schools you need the white form. The forms must be handed in, in person on Tuesday 8th September 6pm – 8pm.
SATURDAY CATECHISM CLASSES:
If your child attends a non-Catholic school and you would like them to make their First Holy Communion please collect a pink form from the Paper Shop. This course feeds into the FHC course and your child should be at least 6 years old by 31st August 2009.
Two catechists are needed for this course. Please apply to the Office if you are able to help – thank you.
