CHRISTMAS ENVELOPES:
There are envelopes in the porch for those not in the envelope scheme for your Christmas Offering for the Priests of the Parish. Christmas collections are your gift to the Priests of the Parish and go towards making up the bulk of their income for the year.
EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS:
We need 4 ministers for the 6.30pm Mass on Christmas Eve, 4 for Midnight Mass, 4 for the 8.30am, 9.45am and 11.15am on Christmas Day and 2 for the 12.30pm Mass on Christmas Day. There is a sheet in the Porch for volunteers to sign – thank you.
FIRST HOLY COMMUNION:
On Tuesday 4th January at 8pm there will be a meeting for parents of children hoping to receive their Holy Communion for the first time in 2011.Saturday 8th at 10am is Catechesis for the Children and on Sunday 9th, the 11.15am Mass is for all the family.
APF MISSION COLLECTION:
Thank you all very much for your generosity last weekend. A total of £867 was raised.
CHRISTMAS POSTERS:
The Knights of St Columba will be distributing Posters this week which show the true meaning of Christmas. Please take one and display it in your window. Thank you.
TINS FOR THE HOMELESS:
This weekend is the last time that we will be collecting tins of food for the homeless until Lent. Please leave any tins in the box at the back of the Church – thank you.

ST PAULS CHURCH CAROL SERVICE:
Our Parish is taking part in a service of Nine Lessons and Carols this Sunday 19th December at 6.30pm with the Anglican Parish of St Paul’s, Woodland Road. You are all very welcome to join them.
KITTY COX RIP:
Kitty was housekeeper in the Parish for a number of years, and her funeral will take place tomorrow, Monday 20th December at 11.30 am. The body will be brought in this evening at 7.30 pm.
MRS JEAN TURNER & FAMILY:
Jean would like to thank all those who were kind enough to send cards and offer Masses, and for all your support following the death of her mother, Mrs Eileen Fuller. A Mass will be offered for all your intentions.
