CONVENT MASS:
There will be a Mass in the Convent at 2, Brookdale on Thursday at 7.30pm – all most welcome.
PRAYERS FOR THE SICK:
We pray for the sick at every Mass but only pray for individuals by name for three weeks unless you ask for their name to be included again.
JEANNE SMITH RIP:
Jeanne's funeral will take place on Thursday, January 27th, at 10 am, and the body will be received into the church on Wednesday evening at 5 pm.
HOSPITAL VISITS:
If you are taken to hospital please let the staff know you are Catholic and you want to see a Catholic priest. It is not usual for the Parish clergy to make hospital visits.
FIRST HOLY COMMUNION 2011:
The next meeting for the FHC Parents is on Tuesday 1st February. The session for the Children is on Saturday 5th February and the Mass is at 11.15am on 6th February.
BAPTISM:
We are looking for a few more people to be trained to help with preparing those bringing children for Baptism. The more who offer, the less each will need to do. If you are interested and would like to know more, please leave your name and contact details with the Parish Office via the tear-off slip below. Many thanks.
FILIPE DIAS RIP:
The Requiem Mass is on Tuesday, January 25th at 10.30 am. There will be NO 10am Mass on that day.
CONFIRMATION 2011:
There is a meeting for the parents of the Candidates on Wednesday 26th January at 7pm. The Candidates will be enrolled at the 11.15am Mass on Sunday 31st January and the first session for those who hope to be Confirmed in 2011 will be on February 2nd at 7pm. All must attend!
