THANK YOU:
A Very Big Thank you to all those volunteers who helped in any way prepare for the Christmas celebrations in the Church.  Also a Very Big Thank you to all those volunteers who help all year round.

EPIPHANY DINNER & PARTY:
There will be a Dinner in the Parish Hall on Sunday 3rd January, for all those who will be alone over  Christmas.  If you, or anyone you know would like to come, please sign your name on the list in the Porch to give an indication for catering or phone Mavis on 8367-6016.

ADVENT TALKS:
The last talk is on 15th December at 7.30 pm and covers “The Birth of Jesus in St Matthew’s Gospel” presented by Fr Kevin.   All are welcome. 

CRISIS AT CHRISTMAS:
The Brownies say a big thank to you to everyone for the toothbrushes and socks that were donated last Sunday.  You are all very generous! 

MENCAP COFFEE MORNING:
Many thanks to all who generously supported this event – a total of £412.30 will be sent to Barnet Mencap.  A list of raffle prizes is on the notice board – please claim from the Office.  NB.  There are also two prizes from the Sick and Retired Priest’s raffle,  which raised £220, to be claimed from the office.  Results are on the Hall notice board.  Thanks to you all!

ADVENT TALKS:
The second Advent talk on Tuesday 8th December at 7.30pm is “The Birth of Jesus in St Luke’s Gospel” by Fr. Tom.  This and the other talks will be a good spiritual preparation for Christmas and will help us to deepen our understanding of our Saviour’s birth. 

RCIA:
The ‘Rite of Welcome’ for the members of the RCIA Group who are thinking about joining the Catholic Church will be on Sunday 13th December at the 9.45am Mass. 

PRAYING FOR THE SICK:
Prayers are offered for all the sick at every Mass on Sunday.  Unless we are asked to do otherwise, names of sick people are mentioned for four weeks and then transferred to the Newsletter for four weeks.  All previous prayer intentions are on the website. 

PLANNED GIVING ENVELOPES 2010:
There are a few still to collect.  Any potential members are asked to take a form from the church lobby.
