Exodus 24: 3-8

When the people commit themselves to the observance of all God’s commands, Moses seals their promise by sprinkling them with the blood of the covenant.

 

Hebrews 9: 11-15

Christ enters the sanctuary of God’s presence to present the offering of his own blood for our eternal redemption.

 

Mark 14: 12-16. 22-26

In the course of the Passover meal, Jesus gives the disciples the sacrament of his own body and blood to eat and to drink.  This is a sign of the new and eternal convent.
