DECEMBER BAPTISM COURSE:
The second part of the Course takes place in the Small Hall on Monday 9th at 7.30 pm.
TOILETRIES & TINS FOR THE HOMELESS:
We will be collecting toiletries and tins for the homeless during Advent. A box can be found at the back of the Church for your donations. Barnet Homeless Action are particularly keen to collect toiletries this year such as deodorants, disposable razors, shampoo, soaps, shower gel etc. Thank you.
FAIR TRADE STALL:
The Last Fair Trade stall before Christmas is next week, 14th/15th December. Give hard working ethical farmers and manufacturers in developing countries a good start to 2014.
CAFOD PHILIPPINES DISASTER COLLECTION:
This weekend there will be a collection for CAFOD to help the refugees in the Philippines following typhoon Haiyan. Please complete a Gift Aid form if you pay UK income tax.
BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT:
If you would be interested in having support following a bereavement please complete a form in the church porch and post it through the presbytery letter box. One of the members of the support team will contact you.
SR MARY AQUINAS RIP:
There will be Mass in memory of Sr Mary Aquinas on 18th January at 10 am, followed by refreshments in the Parish Hall.
PLANNED GIVING CHRISTMAS ENVELOPES 2014:
Envelopes can be found at the back of the Church for those who are not in the Planned Giving scheme and would like an envelope for their Christmas offering.
EXPOSITION DURING ADVENT:
Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament will take place this afternoon between 12.30 pm and 5.30 pm. You are asked to sign the sheet in the porch if you are going to watch. There must be someone in the church at all times.
ADVENT TALKS:
You are all welcome to attend the second Advent Talk, which takes place on Tuesday 10th December at 7.30 pm in the Small Hall. This week’s title is, “Difficulties in ways of Praying”.
ADVENT PENITENTIAL SERVICES:
There will be Penitential Services on Monday 16th December at 2.30 pm & 7.30 pm.
PILGRIMAGE TO ROME & ASSISI

WESTMINSTER CATHEDRAL EVENTS:
A Ceremony of Carols on Tuesday 10th December at 7.30 pm featuring the choristers of Westminster Cathedral, accompanied by Vicky Lester on the harp - tickets £15.
A Christmas Celebration, Wednesday 18th and Thursday 19th December also at 7.30 pm. Music and readings for Christmas - tickets £10 - £45. Tickets for all three concerts are available from www.ticketmaster.co.uk and the Cathedral Gift Shop.
