TOILETRIES & TINS FOR THE HOMELESS:
We are collecting for the homeless during Advent. Please place your donation in the box at the back of the church. Barnet Homeless Action are particularly keen to collect toiletries this year such as deodorants, disposable razors, shampoo, soaps, shower gel etc. Thank you.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Pilgrimage to Rome & Assisi, 27th October - 2nd November 2014
Applications forms must be collected after either the 8.30 am or 9.45 am Mass on Sunday 22nd December (today) from the Parish Hall. If you know of someone who has expressed an interest, but is not here PLEASE TAKE A FORM FOR THEM, or get them to call Patrick Bolger on 8882 1522 or 07826 834779. The completed application form and deposit have to be received by Tangney Tours by 6th January 2014.
USED STAMPS:
We are collecting used stamps for a charity which supports the homeless. Please place them in the box at the back of the church. Thank you.
CLEANING ROTA:
Available for collection in the Paper Shop.
EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS:
If you are available to minister at one of the Christmas Masses please sign your name to the list in the Porch – thank you.
CHRISTMAS ENVELOPES:
Envelopes can be found at the back of the church for those who are not in the Planned Giving scheme and would like an envelope for their Christmas offering.
DECEMBER 26th (Boxing Day):
This is the Feast day of St Stephen, the Patron Saint of Altar Servers. All servers should make every effort to attend the 10 am Mass on that day.
ANDREW PEGORINI RIP:
The Requiem will take place on Friday 3rd January at 10 am.
MASS TIMES THIS WEEK:
10 am Mass only on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. See centre panel for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. After the masses on Thursday and Friday the church will be closed for the day. Masses next weekend will be at their normal times.
NEW YEAR’S DAY:
There will be one Mass, to celebrate the Solemnity of Mary, at 12 noon followed by refreshments in the Hall.
JANUARY SALE:
The Sale will take place in the Parish Hall on 25th/26th January. Money raised will go towards the new church security system. Offers of gifts will be most welcome. More information in the new year.
