CONFIRMATION 2014:
This year’s Confirmation ceremony will take place on Friday 9th May at 7.30 pm. The rehearsal is on Wednesday, May 7th, starting with Reconciliation at 6.15 pm. All candidates and their sponsors should attend.
FIRST HOLY COMMUNION:
Two groups of children will be receiving the Sacrament of First Holy Communion on Saturday 10th May at 11.30 am & 2.30 pm. Their rehearsal is on Tuesday 6th May
Please note that there will not be a 10 am Mass that day.
BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY:
Next Monday is a bank holiday and there will be one mass at 10 am, after which the church will be closed for the day.
FINCHLEY CATHOLIC SCHOOL SIXTH FORM CENTRE:
There is a concert in aid of the new Centre on Saturday 24th May at 8 pm in the church. Tickets on sale after all Masses priced £10 (concessions £7). Music by Beethoven and Mozart followed by cheese and wine in the Parish Hall.
FAIR TRADE STALL:
The stall is open next weekend in the Hall on Saturday evening, and Sunday morning until 12.30 pm.
PAPER SHOP VOLUNTEERS:

FOUR SEASONS SPRING DRAW:
The Draw will take place on Sunday 11th May after the 9.45 am Mass in the Parish Hall. All subscriptions should be received by Saturday 10th.
CONSCIENCE AND THE NHS:

COFFEE MORNING:
Coffee morning and sale will be held at 12 Betstyle Road on Wednesday 14th May from 10 am – 12 noon, in aid of the North London Hospice. All welcome.
CHARLES KAO RIP:
Reception of the Body is on Wednesday May 7th at 8.30 pm, followed by the Requiem Mass on Thursday, May 8th at 10 am.
PRIEST’S TRAINING FUND COLLECTION:
This takes place next weekend. All the money you give will be used to encourage more men to consider the priesthood and to pay for the training of those who come forward. Please give as much as you can afford as the Fund relies on our donations. If you pay UK tax, please complete the Gift Aid slip on the envelope.
PARISH AGM:
This will take place on Sunday 11th May at 7.30 pm in the Parish Hall. You are all most cordially invited to attend.
MARY’S MEALS:
Mary’s Meals will be here on 17th/18th May to take away your unwanted textiles, ie. clothes, bags, blankets, towels, curtains, shoes and books. Please bring them to church in black refuse sacks. Not only will you be getting rid of your clutter and giving yourself a little more space but you will also be benefitting a really worthwhile charity. Mary’s meals feeds children one good meal every day at school in over 16 countries. Because of our low costs we can do this for as little as £10.60 per child per year!

The slightly delayed Big Launch Meeting will be in the Small Hall at 8 pm on Tuesday 13th May. It is still not too late to join in this growing initiative.
