PRIEST TRAINING FUND:
The annual collection will take place next weekend. Currently the Diocese has 29 men in formation for the Priesthood. The Fund also pays for promoting vocations and on-going training for specialised ministries, eg in hospitals and prisons. It costs £25,000/year, or £125,000 for a minimum six year course to train a priest for parish placement.

MICHAEL DELANEY RIP:
The Requiem will take place on Wednesday, 13th April at 10 am. The body will be brought into church the evening before at 7 pm.

CATECHIST FOR OUR LADY OF LOURDES:
We are looking to employ a part time Catechist to co-ordinate the programmes within the Parish. This would entail approx. 10 hours/week at £11-13/hour (neg). This job is being offered via the Diocese, so please look at their website for the application form.

PAPER SHOP:
We are looking for a volunteer to keep the Paper Shop open on Sunday evenings for ten minutes before and after the Mass. We will not be able to open the shop otherwise. Please contact Cecilia on 0208 361 9408 after 4 pm if you want to know more.
FAIR TRADE:
The Stall is open in the Hall today after Mass on Saturday night and Sunday morning – it closes at 12.30 pm.
YEAR OF MERCY DIOCESAN PILGRIMAGE TO WALSINGHAM: Saturday 9th July.
We now have enough interest to book our own coach to Walsingham. It will leave from here at 6.30 am, and return around 8 pm. A seat on the coach will cost £10/head, and is being subsidised by the Parish. Please bring your £10 to the Office to book your place on the coach.
FIRST HOLY COMMUNION:
The final session is this week: parents meet on Tuesday, April 12th at 8 pm in the Parish Hall, and the children meet on Saturday 16th at 10 am.
APRIL’S BAPTISM COURSE:
Please come to the Parish Hall between 7 – 8 pm on Monday 11th April to complete an application form. The Course concludes at 7.30 pm on Monday 18th.
PLANNED GIVING SCHEME:
It would be a great help to the parish if you are able to donate your offerings each week through the planned giving scheme or by standing order. If you are also able to ‘Gift Aid’ your donation the parish would be able to gain a further 25% of your donation in tax relief from HMRC without any cost to yourself.
